Our house is a traditional bungalow. We have completely renovated it and split it into two completely separate units. Our unit faces the sea, and all day sun floods into the living area through the french doors, that lead onto our deck. The deck faces the sea and we spend countless hours sitting on the deck watching the yachts in the harbour racing, or having a BBQ with friends in the evening and looking at the lights of the harbour bridge, the boats and the city. There is a lawn area in front of the deck, and our vegetable garden is available to you to choose something healthy to go with your meal. The house is best suited to one couple, but we provide a queen size self inflating air bed should you need it. You will get access to all of our home, except for our walk in wardrobe, which would be locked for the duration of your stay. We love the location of our home, where there is always something to watch on the harbour, or explore on foot/bike. Please note we have a lovely cat named Ruby, who you may choose to invite inside if you wish.

Our house is located a 5 minute walk to historical Ponsonby, where there are many cafes and lovely shops and beautiful homes on quiet streets to look at. Or you can take a 15 minute stroll to the absolutely beautiful Winyard Quarter and Viaduct Harbour, in downtown Auckland, with its numerous bars and restaurants overlooking the harbour and luxury yachts. Ferries leave from this point to the lovely village of Devonport, Waiheke Island, or other destinations in the Hauraki Gulf. Tourist Information site, central bus (including airport bus) and train station (Britomart) is right there. You are right there in the Auckland CBD with the city vibe, including shops, Sky Tower and bungy jump experience.
