About this Holiday House

A cosy romantic 2 bedroom cottage, often described as a home away from home, and located right in the historic town of Saint Bathans Central Otago. Just 400 metres walking distance to the local the Vulcan Hotel, and across the road from the Blue Lake. Fully serviced and close to the Otago Rail Trail. Built using traditional mud brick yet with modern amenities this little house has all the comforts of home.

A wonderful warm cosy house - just what we needed with a -6C frost outside. Beautifully clean, sunny and perfectly placed for walking.

Lovely cottage in St Bathans. It's not an historic miners home - but a very cosy adobe build. Lovely and warm, well appointed, comfortable - had a lovelt evening playing scrabble and enjoying the supplied CD selection! Unfortunately their cleaner had missed our booking, so it hadn't been serviced, a pity to start our night away with making beds etc :-( It was suggested that we call ahead and book for dinner at Vulcan Pub - 100% book ahead - very quirky, but well worth it! Thanks.

Absolutely lovely property! Anything you need for a little getaway is there - just bring the wine and enjoy it by the cosy fire!
