Some of the best water skiing in the south island is to be had at Lake Kaniere. Close to the West Coast Wilderness bike trail so it's a great place to stop for the night between Kumara and Hokitika to get a hot shower and shelter for the night.

Great location, 2 min walk to the Lake. Lake Kaniere is a beautiful place.
The house had what we needed and was comfortable and clean.

Beautiful idyllic location. Over all The house has everything you need, the only issue was the bathroom door is not best but workable.
