Rocket Beach Accomodation. The Hall Mahia is a unique spacious 4 bedroom holiday home at Mahia's main beach. The open plan kitchen and living room with high ceilings and wide wooden floors was once the Rakauroa Hall. Large sliding doors open fully out to 2 generous decks, perfect for outside entertaining. 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs and a further basement room are perfect for 2 families or 3-4 couples. The Hall is a 500 metre walk to Mahia's main beach, boat ramp, dairy and pub. Glimpses of the sea and mokotahi hill. Outdoor lounging on Sunny days, sunset cocktails in the evening. Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen Dish washer Microwave 2 x fridge freezer 1 x Ice maker 1 x vege drawer Bathroom 2 x toilet (1 upstairs, 1 down) 2 x shower (1 upstairs, 1 down) (Both great pressure) Hairdryer 1 x outside shower (cold only) Bedrooms: 1 x queen 1 x queen 2x singles 1 x Queen Basement room - 1 x queen 2 x singles Ensuite shower and toilet Washing machine Outside hose (bore water so heaps) for boat wash BBQ Character, atmosphere and entertaining space a few minutes walk from the beach. You need to bring your own linens - sheets, towels, pillow cases, t towels etc. Linen is not provided. There is a $120 cleaning fee. You need to remove all rubbish and recycling as you depart. No exceptions. We discourage preschoolers staying as nether house or section are child friendly. (The Gisborne cockroach is native to the east coast area. Despite this we do spray the house but it is almost inevitable that the odd one that will come in the house and die- just warning in case it’s an issue!).
