About this Holiday House

Early 1900s character cottage set in private garden, only a stone's throw from The Square. Fully refurbished, open plan with woodburner and polished floors. Both bedrooms, one Queen and one double, open onto the deck, which wraps around three sides of the house. A sun-drenched area with outside seating is a great spot for breakfast or a barbeque. Claw foot bath for relaxing or shower if you prefer. Supplies for continental breakfast provided. Free unlimited wi-fi.

Thoroughly enjoyed another weekend stay at this lovely cottage. Whatever the weather, it's a perfect getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Ambrosia Cottage. It was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day exploring the Wairarapa — warm, welcoming, and full of character. Check in was a breeze, and the kitchen had everything we needed (and more). We loved the decor, it felt thoughtfully put together and full of personality. Breakfast at the Neighbourhood Coffee House was a treat too, the coffee really is as good as they say. Thank you for such a lovely stay. We’d love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Ambrosia Cottage with the woodburner giving a lovely heat to the whole house. Its central location makes it a 2 min walk to the shops and being a back section there is very little traffic noise. We would absolutely book again.
