We had a lovely relaxing time in this cottage, and found the beds to be very comfortable. Not sure what previous reviewer was meaning about them being hard - we slept very well. Thanks Clare and Richard for a great couple of days.

This is a beautiful house in a peaceful spot, but the beds were terribly hard and uncomfortable. We were all so sleep deprived we couldn't really enjoy our holiday for a few days. The queen bed had a vintage, green striped mattress with metal springs inside and the bunk mattresses were also vintage, thin and hard. It's such a shame, because the house was so beautifully decorated it was like a dream home and guests were otherwise provided with everything they could possibly want, including lots of games, a choice of coffee makers and heaps of towels.

There aren't even enough complimentary words to describe how much we enjoyed this amazing cottage. It was rustic, authentic and cosy set in the most relaxing space with everything you could ever need to just decompress and enjoy. The host was accommodating and friendly, the environment forced you to just chill out. We are totally going back just as soon as we can organise that.
