Available for use while staying at our holiday house are 4 Specialized Expedition Mountain Bikes which are well suited for the biking tracks around Twizel and parts of the Alps to Ocean Cycle way tracks. Twizel is a very central area to stay should you enjoy the outdoors with plenty of lakes for fishing and water sports. The canels are also proving very popular for fishing too. The new cycle tracks are now all set for use. Close by activities for the children is the scate board park, swimming pool, tennis courts and a 5 minute walk takes you to the river. Our houses are locacted very close to the centre of the town where you have a choice of many places to dine. (Thai, Cafe, Pub, Bakery or fine dining at Shorty's Restaurant ) In the winter months the houses are central for the ski fields, also a 1/2 hour drive will get you to the beautiful Hot Pools located at Lake Tekapo or to the south of Twizel is the Omarama Hot Tubs. Also not forgetting that you can have a day trip to the wonderful area of the Mount Cook Village which has enjoyable cafe dining or take one of the many walking track options The house has a lovely big deck which is built for the sun and to enjoy outdoor dining on Should this house already be booked for the dates you require or you need two houses to suit the number of persons travelling with you, we do have another house that sleeps up to 6, this is listed further down titled "Twizel High Country Getaway" Twizel; A great place to be!
