Stunning gardens and view, close to town but very quiet. Everything I needed for a quick break with granddaughter who was equally charmed by the magical garden and especially the tadpoles. Fuss-free but thoughtful (and interesting) hosts who'd thought of everything.

My 13 year old son and I stayed in this lovely little cottage for 8 nights. Wish we could have moved in! Nice and private away from the main house. I enjoyed exploring the garden. Fruit trees galore and the flowers just beautiful. We laughed before we went to bed at night, at how much we looked forward to the delicious breakfasts every mornings. Thank you for the treats you left my son in the cookie jar, and for allowing my Mum to come and park her camper for the night (you even made her breakfast too). And finally, thank you for the invite up to your home where you all made my family and I, a wonderful birthday dinner. We will definitely be back.

We have been travelling New Zealand for the past four weeks and have been impressed with many of the B and Bs that we have stayed at, BUT Linda and Brian have gone far beyond our expectations. From the very evening of our arrival until the day of our leaving six nights later, we have certainly been treated like good friends rather than newly arrived guests. One evening, we were welcomed into their house to enjoy dinner with their own friends. The breakfasts provided were delicious, nutricious and filling and brought to us each morning by Linda. We also much appreciated a guided tour of Tairua by Brian and the freshly caught and smoked fish caught by Brian. We are very sad to leave here and would like to think that we may be able to return in the not too far future. Thank you Linda and Brian. We will not forget your kindness during our stay.
