About this Holiday House

Our warm peaceful modern apartment is situated on a semi-rural lifestyle block in Napier's suburb of Jervoistown, which is close to the express-way. This ideal central location is 10 minutes drive to Napier city and Hastings. We are a few minutes cycle to the bicycle tracks on the river side located from the Guppy Road entrance. We are taking extra care to disinfect the space due to COVID-19. The apartment is a sunny, warm home, with comfort in mind and to be your home away from home, with all the little extras, including free WiFi. Guests are very welcome to entertain family and friends whilst staying. Bedrooms: The apartment has two bedrooms with quality beds. The main bedroom has a king bed with an electric blanket for the cooler months. Bedroom 2 gives you the option of a super king bed or 2 beds (king single & long single). A modern portacot with bedding and a highchair is available. There is a king single discreetly placed in the dinningroom in the open-plan living room. Open-plan living area: The kitchen includes a dishwasher and a plumbed-in fridge/freezer with an ice-machine. The cooking facilities are a bench-top oven, microwave, electric fry pan and a 2-zone electric induction hobs. There is a hooded BBQ 6 burner (with a side cooker) for those who love to cook outside. The lounge has comfortable recliners, an LED TV, stereo system and DVD player. There are games, puzzles, books and movies suitable for all ages. There is a heat pump/air conditioner for winter and summer comfort. Other areas: There is an integral single garage and off-street parking. The laundry is in the garage with a washing machine, dryer and ironing board etc. The bathroom includes a basin, wheelchair friendly shower and toilet. The apartment is a self-contained 2 bedroom unit which is separated by two garages from the host's house. You will have the privacy, a single garage, ample off-street parking and own access to the front gardens which during summer will have a small vegetable garden. There is room to park any big vehicles and trailers. How much interaction you wish to have is entirely up to you. Your friendly host family are on-site (in another dwelling) and are keen to help with any local knowledge to ensure you enjoy your time in the Bay. Wheelchair friendly - the unit is easily accessible via the ranch-sliders, doors and hallways. The kitchen and bathroom have been designed with wheelchair accessibility, and measurements can be provided. All linen and towels are provided. The unit is available on a "leave it as you found it" basis and we will take care of cleaning all the linen.

A great relaxing stay all round. Clean and tidy with plenty of space to chill out. Lovely peaceful location away from the city life, but handy to any Hawkes Bay destination. All beds are comfortable with generous sizes. Marika is a wonderful host also.

For long weekends or event weekends we require minimum 2 nights stay and multi-stay discount does not apply (e.g. Art Deco). Easter weekend is preferably a minimum 3 night booking. Weekly rates available upon request.

Payment process: Please provide $50 deposit to confirm booking within a week of request. Balance of booking to be provided upon arrival and key pickup or pay online few days prior. Payment terms are online banking or cash. If you require any other payment terms please arrange prior to confirmation of booking. No charge for children under 2yrs.

Cancellation Policy: We appreciate that unforeseen circumstances occur, so if notice is given at least 4 days prior to accommodation date we will refund the deposit. If notice is given within 4 days of booking we will endeavour to relet and if this is possible the deposit will be refunded, but if not the $50 will be retained. Cases will be considered individually. For bookings longer than 2 weeks, we require a longer notice period and will arrange an individual arrangement.
