A 2 bedroomed eco cottage right by the beach at Kuaotunu, near Whitianga; sleeps 4 people. One bedroom has a queen bed & the other has a set of single bunks. Right by the sea & right across the road from the beach. Also a creek on one side which is perfect for kayaking and a lovely outlook. A similar cottage, Thyme Out by the Sea is next to it. A huge deck joins both houses making it perfect for 2 families, or you can just rent one. A leisure built unit (sleep out) next to "Wild Thyme" has a Queen bed. It can be rented for EXTRA GUESTS at $60 for up to 2 people per night. BYO sheets & towels of hire them from us for $25pp per stay. Duvets & covers supplied. You can also rent the whole property; ie the 2 cottages, plus the leisure built. Enough beds for 10 people, plus a pull out couch in Wild Thyme & room for tents. Maximum 16 people. Cleaning fee $70 The big outdoor deck area & BBQ are shared by both cottages. By arrangement & if suitable, one well trained dog may be permitted. Check with us. Solar powered (with grid back up), bamboo floors, dishwasher. Kayaks available Outside shower (& inside of course). Also an extra outside toilet & fish cleaning sink. Fenced section (not creek), plus the deck area can be closed off making it safe for children. Gorgeous situation & we have many returnees. "Hi there Liz & Mike, I recently had the pleasure of spending a few nights in your Thyme cottages with my parents (and their little dog), and it's fair to say that we have all fallen for your little slice of paradise. Seeing as we so thoroughly enjoyed our thyme (sorry, couldn't resist) there, I thought that I would book my parents back in for a few nights in as their Christmas present.
