About this Holiday House
*****Much admired family bach now available to the public****
Cute and cosy, 1940s weatherboard bungalow situated just meters from the waters edge. Recently renovated kitchen and tidy throughout but still maintaining a real 'kiwi bach' feel.
This is a family holiday home and has been loved for many generations. There is lots to do, if you're feeling active; take a walk down to Onawe, or explore the mudflats. Go for a windsurf or a sail or launch your boat for a spot of fishing or waterskiing. If you want to relax just pull up a chair and grab a book off the shelf, or just watch the tides come and go.
Open plan kitchen and living, lots of outdoor space. It's a great house to cook a meal and sit and go over your daily adventures and plan the next days activities.
The house is the last on the road, which affords great views and a certain amount of privacy.
Akaroa Golf Course close enough to walk to for a round of golf (or a 2 minute drive). 2 minute walk to pub/resturant, 10 minute walk to cafe/store, or a 10 min drive over the hills to Akaroa for everything you need.
PLEASE NOTE - as this is a multi-generational family holiday home booking for PUBLIC HOLIDAYS may not be accepted as family will have first right of refusal. Even if the calendar shows the date as available, this may not be the case.
