The house is situated in a sunny north facing sheltered spot with stunning views. It looks over lovely tranquil bush with spectacular views from the large deck over the water, into Bon Accord Harbour and back toward Sandspit. It is a very spacious comfortable house and also very quiet and peaceful. Suitable for families with children or couples and friends who want to get away and relax or alternately have a more action packed holiday with fishing, diving, walking, swimming, kayaking and much more. Kayaks are available and very quick access to 2 beautiful safe bays which are great for swimming and fishing. The house and island provide for a truly unique holiday. Only 15- 20 minutes walk from Historical Mansion House and the cafe. There are loads of lovely walks to suit everyone. One of the main experiences of the house is the kitchen which opens out fully onto the large deck for a wonderful BBQ/ dining experience. Later on in the evening when you are looking at the stars you may be lucky enough to see phosphorescence in the water as it hits the beach.As one of our focuses when we built the house was to be immersed in nature and to be eco friendly, the power source is solar and gas, and there is no TV. It is accessible from Sandspit by water taxi or ferry to Schoolhouse bay. Then transport is provided to the house.
