Lovely renovated holiday home seconds from the beach!. Owners easy to deal with. I rented it for a week for my 65th birthday with family also coming over for a few days as well. Swims every day at high tide- (the water doesn't leave you feeling sticky) and kayaking on the bay (took our own kayaks). Stayed here a few years back so appreciate the refurbishing. Especially enjoyed the new covered deck area making outdoor dining great in the sun as well as providing protection in the drizzle. Thanks for letting us stay.

Wonderful family friendly bach in which to enjoy the perfect, peaceful Purau Bay. Our family of 4 children and 2 adults weren't squashed up in the spacious and comfy bach, all amenities provided for a relaxing stay. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, warm and sunny and clean home, with amazing views out all windows. Great for families with the beach about 20 seconds across the road, lots of rock pools at low tide, no surf, family friendly walks, and no traffic noise. Lyttelton lights are pretty across the water at night, as are the amazing stars. Highly recommend to those with young ones wanting a quiet, safe place to holiday, plus the owner is fantastic to deal with. Definitely going back, thanks heaps Robin for the chance to make new family memories here!
