Mt Herbert Cottage is positioned in a private, rural setting above the Diamond Harbour township, Lyttelton Harbour; approximately 32 km from Central Christchurch. Situated on Mt Herbert Station, a sheep and beef farm, it is a well appointed, modern three bedroom house with wonderful views of Godley Heads and Mt Evans. There are chickens, ducks and very friendly working dogs nearby that may pay a visit! The Cottage has its' own private grounds and outdoor living area to enjoy. There is a logburner and firewood for chilly evenings, all linen / bedding is supplied and the kitchen is well equipped. Guests can relax and enjoy the peace, quiet and views, explore the various walking tracks or enjoy an outing to vibrant Lyttelton (a 6 min drive or 30 min walk to the ferry).
