Blackwood is a surprisingly spacious holiday home conveniently located within easy, flat walking distance to a number of Rotorua's most popular tourist attractions (Skyline Gondola, Canopy Tours, Heritage Farm Park, Minigolf with rabbits) There's plenty of room for your family or group to relax in comfort after a day working, holidaying, sightseeing, exploring or mountain biking. Book both properties to accommodate up to 10 people FAMILY FRIENDLY We can accomodate children and infants and can provide a portable cot (pack'n'play) and linen and highchair ( by request at time of booking) Children's toys and books are stored in a vintage suitcase in the living room to keep your little ones amused A child safety gate is installed at the kitchen entrance ( for use if needed) Board games and cards are available for those quiet evenings in GUEST ACCESS You have use of the entire house during your stay ( including the laundry with washing machine and clothes drier and airer/outdoor clothesline) The keys are located in a lockbox onsite and your code to access these will be sent a couple of days prior to your stay EASY OFFSTREET PARKING Please park vehicles on the left side of the house (following signs) We do ask you to keep the driveway to the right of the house clear BEDDING OPTIONS The twin bedroom is made up as two single beds (these can be zipped together as a King bed - please let us know at the time of booking) GUEST INTERACTION We’re more than happy for you to contact us and chat about local attractions, activities and pass on our knowledge about things that may interest you while you’re staying We live just 10 minutes away and can be contacted by phone or message between 7am - 9pm if you need advice or assistance NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW Blackwood is centrally located on the main road into Rotorua, close to the northern tourist hub and walking distance to the Supermarket, Medical centre, Laundromat and numerous food and takeaway stores It is also less than a 4km drive to Rotorua lakefront, city centre, Kuirau Park and popular Eatstreat where you'll find great restaurant options GETTING AROUND We are just 13km drive from Rotorua Regional Airport, 3.5km to Eatstreat and the city centre, 9km to Whakarewarewa Redwood Forest There are several tourist attractions within 1km walking distance if you choose to leave the car parked at the house and explore on foot
