Welcome to the Coroglen Outlook to this self-contained holiday accommodation with stunning views from this 120 acre farm enjoy the views while dining or having drinks or breakfast under the sheltered veranda looking out to the Coromandel ranges to your left, to hills that surround Hotwater beach to your right and in the middle valley views of bushland, farms, kiwi fruit orchards the Waiwawa river, Coroglen/Tapu road, Coroglen tavern and much more if the weather turns foul you can see all this from the comfort of a well presented 2 room accommodation, kitchen, dining, living and bedroom area with a spacious separate bathroom. The local town Whitianga which has much to offer for all types of holiday makers Tairua another well-known holiday town then of course you have Hotwater beach were you can soak in geothermal hot water seeping its way up through the beach sand Hahei and Cooks beach all this being approximately 20 minutes from your stay. You can always head down to the Coroglen tavern only 5 minutes’ drive away for a cool refreshing drink or let them do the cooking in there restaurant or sit back beside the wood fire in the cooler winter nights and take in the vast array of times gone by hanging on the walls or you may like to take a walk to the top of the farm were views of parts of Whitianga township and estuary can be seen as well as the Ocean out over Hotwater beach or to the back to what is locally called the “pins” ( pinnacles ) in the Coromandel ranges( this may depend on stock movement at the time and suitable foot wear must be worn). There is some fenced off native bush on the property with Kauri, Totara, Matai, Rimu and other native trees were Tui’s, Fantails and Wood Pigeons may be seen although there are no walking tracks as such and a good pair of boots or foot wear will be required as well as prior agreement with the owner.
