The house is a great location, is fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and bedrooms and has a lovely French feel with a lot of interesting ornaments. It has a nice big back deck which sits above the Akaroa stream, making it very relaxing and invites all the wee native birds close to the house to enjoy. We went in summer and the house had sun the full day, right into the evening which kept it very toastie.

Wow Thankyou heaps sarah, I'm rapt you so enjoyed my la vie en rose new French styled cottage and brand new interior and the additonal new verandah roof overlooking the Grehan Stream and Wakerele Green Reserve. You are most welcome to book in again there...when you need another break away or to try my Moananui lodge Purau Bay [lyttelton Harbour waterfront three bedroom two storey holiday home with its totally renovated themed interior. You also left the home as asked, the same way that you enjoyed finding it on arrival ..clean tidy and all in order. Thanks again.. I look forward to your return and for any friends, colleagues who would like t have the same experience as you had. Robin [owner]

Beautiful home - loved the French decor and old piano. Very peaceful with the bubbling stream - we could hear it from the master bedroom. Highly recommend.
