Amazing host — genuinely lovely and quick to respond to any questions. The house was clean, tidy and in a superb location. A couple of practical notes for future guests: there’s only one shower, located in the ensuite. It works perfectly well, just something to be aware of if you’re travelling with a larger group. The kitchen is still set up more like a café/bar space, which gives it character but may feel a little different from a standard home kitchen. There’s no dryer, which is only really noticeable on rainy days when boat towels take longer to dry. Occasionally a few people wandered down the path thinking it was still operating as a café, but it wasn’t disruptive. Overall, a lovely home with phenomenal parking and fantastic outdoor areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stays.
