This super cute two bedroom cottage oozes with warmth and character. It has it's own sun deck and private garden behind.  It's in a private location 5 minutes drive from Takaka and only a one-minute drive to Pohara Beach and the beachside 9 hole Takaka golf course.  It's an ideal base for families or a romantic getaway for two.Blue Cottage is a warm, fully furnished home from home. It has new furniture and a very comfortable queen-sized bed. The second bedroom has 2 bunk beds and a single bed. The single bed has a dropside bed rail available for tiny tots. We also have a high chair available. All bed linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook meals if you wish and basic herbs, oil and sugar are provided. For winter bookings the logfire quickly heats the whole house. We provide wood, kindling and pine cones. We have free WiFi, TV, music, board games to play and good books of all genres to read. Guests have full, sole access to the cottage. We have a washing machine and bigger fridge in the garage outside that guests can also use. PLEASE NOTE: We welcome guests with dogs, so if you are very allergic to dogs then this might not be the property for you. Also, we do not charge an extra cleaning fee - we would rather you spent that $ on your holiday. We just ask that you help us make a start on cleaning by stripping the beds, washing your dishes and leaving the cottage tidy. We do the rest.
