We had a fantastic long weekend stay at Bowentown Beach Getaway. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing family break. The location is excellent, close to the beach and walking tracks. One thing we particularly appreciated was the flexibility with check-in and check-out. Dissappointed. Getting the key from the owner was a task as we had to wait for about 2 hours after arriving. Our calls were not being answered. Called more than 5 times. The bach was quite dirty. The kitchen bench top had unwashed kitchen utensils. Microwave which is placed too high was not cleaned inside. The window sills and the floor skirting boards were full of dust. Sea shells and used mugs under the beds. Some bedding was used and not washed. We found hair on some beds. Wardrobes were full of stuff. We couldn't use them. Both wash basins in the bathrooms are cracked. Overall the house was spacious and the location was good. Toiletetries were provided. If these things are looked into and maintained it would a better place.

House was nice and tidy and has everything you need for a nice relaxing holidays, there is also a plenty of space and lot of stuff to keep you busy. Just note that there is no wifi (internet) but that turned out great for us as the kids got engaged in games and activities away from mobile -:) and a big shout out to the owner Kim, who is very nice and super flexible for checkin and checkout time. Would really love to book the place again if I happen to go Waihi again. Thanks Kim for being such a nice host.
