We slept with the curtains open so every morning we up with the sun. Stayed 7 nights. Big mistake, should’ve stayed 3 weeks. 2 min walk to the beach and then a couple miles walk on the beach looking for treasures and a swim. Back to the luxury for a quick shower. Next is nespresso coffee at the kitchen table, but here’s the best part the massive picture window that opens super wide faces the harbour. The view is incredible. Port Ohope is amazing. The people are very friendly. We went to the wharf for fish and chips. Of course I had to meet more of the locals. So I went and said hello to a fisherman and had a great conversation. We did MANUs off the wharf. That was awesome. I’m 53 so had to see if I could still pull it off. lol. Here’s our favorite part The hosts Ngaire and Peter. They are beautiful people. They made our stay so memorable. For us that’s what it’s about. Creating memories. We will return. If you visit Port Ohope stay at True y

Superb rented accommodation in all respects: location, presentation and service. Most of all: the owners know what visitors need! Meticulous, clean and elegant - a delight to enjoy.

We booked True North for a restful and relaxing time away. That is exactly what we experienced. The apartment is well set up, comfortable and very easy to feel at home. Being able to look out and enjoy the ever changing light and atmospheric views of the harbour and surrounding landscape is exceptional. The proximity to the beach was a bonus. The hosts are so welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommended.
