Peaceful, quiet , relaxing retreat. Large, modern, sunny, home in rural setting.Beautiful established gardens with mature rhodendrons, camelias, roses , maples, dogwoods cherry and oak trees. Warm, sunny home, recently redorated , with a log burner for cold winter nights and air conditioning for the summer. 4 bedrooms, 3 large bedrooms 2 with ensuite bathrooms and 1 smaller bedroom. All living areas with access to the verandah and gardens. There are cycle ways , shopping, golf courses nearby , and just 20 minutes from the airport.

Wonderful views farm land and mountains. Private and quiet in landscaped gardens with rhododendrons, camelias , roses. Enjoy the native birds and listen for the bell bird call. Just 3km to the beach. In summer enjoy the BBQ area outdoors and in winter enjoy the ambience of the log burner. Fire wood supplied. Don't forget to step outside and view the amazing night sky on clear nights. All living areas downstairs access the wrap around verandah and gardens. Large, sunny bedrooms upstairs have wonderful garden and farm and mountain views.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

The property is 5 minutes from the main Road North and it's a short drive North to the wineries and Hanmer springs where you can enjoy the hot springs and now the largest water slide in NZ. Pegasus and Kaiapoi golf courses are 5 minutes away as are the townships of Kaiapoi, Rangiora and Woodend , with restaurants cafes, bars, shopping and supermarkets. Take a river cruise, and enjoy a meal onboard Kaiapoi's River Queen, hire a bicycle and enjoy the cycling tracks along the river.
