Whether you're travelling to see the hidden treasures of the South, looking for the perfect fishing spot, or simply needing time and space to replenish and rest, Toia te Manawa is the place for you. A cozy, newly refurbished home on our family farm located in Northern Southland - 10 minutes out of Lumsden and just 30 minutes from Gore; the trout fishing capital of NZ. Queenstown, Te Anau and the stunning Catlin's coast are all within 2 hours drive. Nestled in a picturesque valley with paniramic views. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the main highway.

Located 10 mins from Mataura and Oreti Rivers. 10 min drive to Lumsden - great cafes, excellent supermarket, petrol/diesel, awesome pub/restaurant. Round the mountain cycle trail. And 1 hr away from Remarkables ski field.

We loved this private, spacious and comfortable home, and only wish we had more time to relax in the wide open vistas.. The location is worth the drive down the gravel road. Communication was excellent and responses were very prompt.

Great place to stay, well maintained and appointed. House does creak and pop when the sun goes down but that's part of the charm. Really peaceful rural setting. Will definitely stay here again.
