The cottage consists of an open plan lounge and dining room leading out onto the verandah accompanied by a kitchen containing all the necessary appliances. With three bedrooms, the cottage can sleep up to 6 people. The location possesses an abundance of activities. Immerse yourself in the natural environs by walking one of the many bush tracks or trekking to the top of Mt Peel to experience a view of the Canterbury Plains. For those seeking adventure activities, there’s white water rafting and kayaking on the Rangitata’s rapids, a river also renowned for its world class trout fishing. The Peel Forest Cafe and General Store is located nearby and the town of Geraldine is worth a visit to check out its impressive craft shops, winery and cheese delicatessens, supermarket and chemist - only a 20min drive away.
