Excellent seaside accommodation at the best end of Pourere beach. House is well set up and owners are incredible and efficient with communication. Everything we needed for a break away in an “old school beach holiday” style where the kids can explore and be kids and nature is the playground. Very comfortable beds which is a must in our books. Great shower and good water pressure. Very comfortable seating which is also a “must” for a holiday. We loved the fact that it was just as a bach should be. Not too fancy or uncomfortable but welcoming, warm, fresh with gorgeous sea breeze, ample room and good car parking. Section was immaculate. Lovely big cups to enjoy early morning tea watching the sun rise ( also essential in our books to have a decent cup 💛). This has been a great stay for us and we highly recommend to others. We didn’t come out for all the mod cons and wifi and tv. We can have that any day. Although the house does have Sky and the family could watch the cricket for some downtime it wasn’t essential. I found it more relaxing and comfortable than our last 5 star hotel stay because everything is there and homely. Make sure you explore the reef at low tide, snorkel in the lagoon and pack extra towels for all those swims as the beach feels very safe and the family enjoyed many hours in the water. Thanks to the owners for sharing your piece of paradise with us as these sorts of holidays make you feel like a kid again and in this day and age it’s just what the body and soul needs. 5 stars or as the kids said it’s an A++++++++++. We will be back and can’t wait. Many thanks to your family from ours x

We had three nights at the Beach front home. This home has a nice family lived in vibe. Basic and dated in its appearance but clean and tidy with the bare wood floors making it easy cleaning and forgiving around the dining table. Whist the furniture maybe dated they are all comfortable. The shower has really good pressure. Being a two-level home (garage at ground level), you have remarkable views over the reef and wider ocean. The sunrises are stunning from the dining table and large decking and the outdoor furniture large enough for all. After a snorkel on the reef where there are many smaller rock pools to wade in or for the more serious divers and fishos there is plenty to explore, from the deck we watched our surfcaster catch a nice kahawai just before the rain came in. This kept us indoors playing board games, cards and watching the Rugby world cup replays on the sky (take own card if wanting movies). The bird life and seals were neat to see. We would like to see the toilet seat replaced or re secured, some extraction of the stove and as a luxury an Air conditioner for extraction, heating and cooling options. Perhaps some sea toys like a kayak or two or dinghy to row in the bay would be amazing. All in all, we appreciate the easy communication from Jane and our family really enjoyed this home and surrounds. We will be back for sure very soon. P.s Google maps has the home in the incorrect place. Drive through the campground
