About this Holiday House

Kia Ora Welcome to our little bach that is 14a Dale Street, Albert Town, Wanaka. It’s a little slice of kiwiana and ideal for a small group; one family or two couples. Set in a quiet spot, it is only a two minute walk to the beautiful Clutha River and a two minute walk to the local Four Square, a restaurant & bar, and the famous Pembroke Patisserie. It's a five minute drive to Wanaka township. There are amazing mountain-biking tracks and walks right on the doorstep. Freshly renovated in June 2022, it now offers all the mod cons with a warm, character-filled 'modern retro' theme. Fully lined with new insulation and double-glazing plus a new woodburner it's lovely & warm. Brand new appliances include an oven, induction hob, double dishdrawer & a washer/drier. It is family friendly with a big cupboard full of games, puzzles and heaps of good books. A clear favourite with the kids is bathing in the big plastic tub (as there is only a shower). There is a good playground and free tennis courts just down the road. We have Fibre, Apple TV & Chrome cast. The property is now fully fenced with wire-mesh on the post & rail fence and a driveway gate. There’s panel heaters in both bedrooms for warmth in winter as well as ceiling fans for summer. The heat-pump/air con can be turned on by us remotely using WiFi so the house is already a comfortable temperature for your arrival. Beds are clean and very comfortable with good quality duvets. Such a beautiful wee place. Has everything you need and a local shop just down the road. Wanaka is also a few mins drive. We went with 2 adults and 4 kids and was still spacious.lots of games which the kids loved! Having a fire place made the winter nights more beautiful and we will be coming back in summer time for sure with a river access just down the road aswell. Easy smooth booking for us and the Hosts/ owners were lovely to deal with and sent all the information required. Thanks for letting us stay 😊
