Palm Beach Lodge was built originally as a conference venue with guest accommodation. It is a complex of four spacious, very comfortable Mediterranean style apartments, each one occupying an entire floor of the Lodge. The building is situated on the hillside in the centre of beautiful Palm Beach on the warm northern coastline, and there are ‘dress circle’ views from just about every single room in the entire building! Little Barrier Island is visible on the horizon, the islands of the ‘Noises’ and ‘Tiri Tiri Matangi’ are to the left, Nani Island to the right and in the foreground Palm Beach is invitingly close with the sound of the sea ever present. The zig-zag path winds down through the lush, sub-tropical garden to the road below and then the sandy beach – an all-tide, safe swimming beach. The walk to the water’s edge takes about three minutes in all.
