Comfortable and well equipped house. Very close to central Wanaka shops.

The apartment is very well located & 5 minute walk to town & the free bus up to Treble cone for skiing & yet is in a very quiet location. We did not need to hire a car & travelled on Ritchies bus from Queenstown airport with door to door pick up :-) Kitchen has all the essentials, inc. kitchen towels, pots/pans & some dishes for cooking flans, casseroles etc & dishwasher. You you will need all your own spices. oil etc. for cooking & we cooked/ate in most nights after skiing.. The chopping board was glass [due to hygiene reasons] & was annoying to cut on & the knives could do with a proper sharpen [we may be fussy as we are great cooks & usually take our own knives when we travel, but forgot!] All in all though kitchen was very adequate. The apartment living faces north overlooking garden [glimpse of mountains too], so gets all day sun. The heatpump also kept the place very warm too in the evenings. We watched Netflix of an evening & lounge was comfortable. The bathroom & shower pressure was fantastic & it would have been even more awesome if the place had a bath to relax after a day on the slopes. Organic shampoo/conditioner & eco hand soap provided was a bonus! Washing machine & dryer were also handy for our 7 night stay. Overall it was a great place to stay & the comfortable large double beds made for a good sleep [East facing bedroom is the best IMO] The west facing overlooks carport shared with a neighbour/driveway, but still good enough! Karlinka was an excellent host with fantastic communication & access to apartment was easy with code/keys. Would stay again when visiting due to its ease, location etc.

Kailinka is sooo kind and helpful! She replied the enquiries very quickly. The house is quite clean and neat. We like the living room and backyard. The best part is location. Only 5 mins walk to new world. Anyway, truly recommend it for your staying in Wanaka.
