About this Holiday House

A lovely urban hideaway with gardened enclosed section only minutes from Tongariro River. This roomy 60s home is a great base for Tongariro Crossing, trout fishing, or skiing / boarding. We are anglers and have deals for angling groups. We provide linen, walk in to made up beds and save your packing. Renovated kitchen and bathroom.

Lovely garden, minutes to Tongariro River, and 5 minutes walk to town centre. Wood fire and heat pump. Made up beds ready to lay your head! Owners live next door. We are not lake side but in a quiet gardened urban setting close to everything.

This house was very comfortable, close to the shops but quiet, and had everything needed for a week’s stay. The garden is well kept and, in mid November, the roses made a beautiful show. Recommend warmly.

We enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable house. The generously sized covered deck brought us closer to the lovely garden and gave good indoor/outdoor flow.
