Susan and Rogers seaside cottage is a wonderful place for family to stay. The bedrooms are a good size, the house is very well equipped and it has a lovely vibe to it. We loved the retro furniture and added touches which made us feel right at home. The view from the house is stunning, right out over the Tasman sea, and the back garden, equipped with tyre swing and deck is huge - great for family fun. The beach is a stones throw away, as is the little Castle Cliff high street with the awesome Citadel cafe. Just a 10 minute drive to town, it was wonderful to stay out of the hustle and bustle whilst still being connected. As for the hosts; they were so friendly and helpful and welcoming and, as they live next door, they were always on hand if we needed anything. We hope to be back to stay again on our next trip to Whanganui. Thanks for having us!

Great location. Has everything you need as a base for exploring the region Quiet at night bonus for a person who live rurally. Sue & Roger are very considerate hosts.

If you are looking for a place to stay do not miss the chance to stay here it is superb and you will not be Disappointed it is a lovely older batch and has some super features, plenty of room for the kids to run around and just a short walk through the sand dunes to the beach. l cannot wait to come back here for another visit and if you need to drive into town it is an easy drive in, and the views from the cottage are fantastic and just relax and enjoy your time here.
