The positives: The pool area was great, very clean and well maintained, lots of furniture and the gardens were immaculate. Beds were a good size and r comfortable. A pleasant enough house with lots of room with good cooking facilities, a large washing machine, plenty of pegs and places to hang wet laundry. It did feel and looked very run down and due for some upgrades. Tea, coffee, milk, bread and fruit on arrival was nice. The negatives: Wi-fi router was broken, when it does work, it’s not free. The neighbours 1 house up the road were very noisy. Most nights they were very loud and disruptive, they had a few dogs on their property who barked all night and the MANY roosters right outside one of the bedrooms. We've experienced this before in Raro, but this was particularly bad. The house instructions were very out of date. JoJo the caretaker did come and introduce himself but could not help with fans or wifi. We never saw him. again. Not enough room to leave the whole review.

The family really enjoyed their stay at Muri Lodge. It was spacious and open, plenty of bedrooms for all of us (10). Grandsons loved the pool and were fascinated with the gekkos. Meet JoJo, who was very helpful and even showed the kids how to husk a coconut. Would stay again.

Great place for our family of 10 to holiday. Just finished our second visit to Muri Lodge and had a ball! Ample accommodation, well appointed, pool is great, and the location perfect as a base for all the activities that Rarotonga has to offer. We did have an issue with the gas cooker, but Jojo the caretaker had it fixed within 2 hours: he is a great asset and very knowledgeable about all things Rarotongan.
