About this Holiday House

This is the archetypal New Zealand bach, with magnificent views over idyllic Matheson Bay from the front verandah. There is also a sheltered north-facing rear garden, with a lovely country view. The spacious interior is tastefully decorated and includes two separate bedrooms and a second lounge with a round sofa for relaxation, which can be separated off from the rest of the living space using sliding panels(see plan). Two bathrooms (one is an ensuite), including a clawfoot bath opening onto the rear garden. There are two TVs, one with DVD, a microwave and a double oven, a barbeque on the covered rear deck. Only 1 hours drive from Auckland.

This was our 2nd fantastic stay at Matheson Bay Vista. With beautiful views of the Bay from the front deck and an easy walk to the Leigh General store and local bush walks the house was perfect for our family of four. We are already looking forward to staying again.

We were very happy with this Home for our 4 night stay in January 2019..The home was well equipped and was clean and tidy with a nice layout, and having a deck front and back gives great outdoor and dining options. The view from the front deck over the bay is stunning and its an easy walk down a track at end of the no exit road opposite the house, to the bay. I especially loved the Tui birdsong, the quiet location and the views.. Ad was very easy to deal with and communication was very efficient. We also appreciated the opportunity to bring our well behaved pet. We would definitely come again with no hesitation.
This home is perfect fir a family, prime location, spotlessly clean. The backyard was great for our young baby to crawl around on while we entertained, being able to use the barbecue on the large back deck is just beautiful. Nothing better than morning coffee on the front deck looking out over the bay. Highly recommended. Ad is also very easy and pleasant to deal with.

Guests clean up upon departure so the house is ready for the next occupants. If cleaning is requested then an additional cleaning charge of $75 will apply.
Guest are to provide their own linen or can request linen to be provided at an extra charge.
