This was a very warm and comfortable house with a great view. Excellent location for exploring the Catlins with a good pub down the road for a pub meal. Very friendly people. The beds were comfortable, though one queen bed only had an electric blanket for one side! The shower door in the en suite was missing the drip seal so water pooled on the floor but there was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was good. A very well equipped kitchen and everything functioned well. The underfloor heating was fabulous and kept the house at a constant temperature. A slight drawback for anyone using the bedroom backing onto the garage was the hum of the heating system, but this didn't bother the couple who slept there. In all, we would recommend this house. A nice walk up to the lighthouse or to the viewing hide.
