It is great that there is a supply of firewood provided. Show your appreciation by restocking the wood up at the house from the shed down at road level. The wheelbarrow is on the beach/patio side of the house. The box of matches and newspaper by the fireplace made all the difference, because I hadn't brought anything like that. Maybe bring a lighter and spare paper yourself. Don't miss the little blue penguin parade down the drive from the beach access way at night. You can avoid disturbing them by just sitting inside and watching through the windows. The door to the book cabinet is wedged closed with folded up cardboard at the top, otherwise it hangs open. The view of the waves is better than television. Allow time for just sitting and gazing out.
