This cute pole house cottage has magnificent views along Kuaotunu Beach and plenty of Coromandel character. Everything you may need to recharge your batteries is right here. Just a minutes walk for a refreshing swim in the ocean or stroll on the beach and shady bush walks nearby. The deck invites you to relax with a book, observe the birds and listen to the sound of the waves. Kuaotunu Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach that is safe for swimming and perfect for all your favourite water activities. (Boat ramp a couple of kilometres down the road) It's a 5min drive (or ~45min walk along the beach) to Kuaotunu Village which turns into a lively hub over the summer months. You can find great coffee, wood fired pizza, gigantic ice creams, live music, drop-in yoga, all in a relaxed atmosphere. The nearest main centre is Whitianga (20 min drive) with all your usual amenities: supermarkets, banks, shops, movie theatre, restaurants... Due to it's elevation, there is no driving access directly to the house. Access via some stone stairs from the parking area. It is well worth the the short climb :) Please note, we have recently bought this property and will be making some changes to furnishings and decor until summer (a bit of an update).
