Minimum charge is $150.00 per night (6 guests, then $25.00 pp/pn) SU Adventure Lodge is 6 km (10 min drive) from Whakapapa Ski Area and 1 km from the Chateau (see map attached); between Forest & Bird and Taumarunui High School lodges. The lodge accommodates 24 - 32 guests. Downstairs are 4 separate bunkrooms. Each sleeps 8 people on 3 sets of bunks & another 2 on ledges. Mattresses are supplied. The 2 bathrooms each have 2 toilets & 2 showers and sinks. The lodge is electrically heated (heat pump & wall panels ), & has two drying rooms, hot water, showers and toilets. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking pots & utensils, crockery & cutlery. A large electric stove & oven, microwave, kettle, large fridge, and a separate chest freezer in boot room. BRING YOUR OWN bedding (sleeping bags, pillows), towels, toiletries, toilet paper, tea towels, dishwashing liquid, as well as suitable equipment & clothing for mountain and snow conditions, and light shoes or slippers for inside the lodge. The lodge is not recommended for very young children. Guests must clean the lodge before departure. Vacuum cleaner & cleaning equipment are in the lodge.
