Minimum charge is $200.00 per night (7 guests, then $28.00 pp/pn). Your nightly rate includes DoC levies for Tongariro National Park. SU Adventure Lodge is 6 km (10 min drive) from Whakapapa Ski Area and 1 km from the Chateau (see map attached); between Forest & Bird and Taumarunui High School lodges. The lodge accommodates 24 - 32 guests. Downstairs are 4 separate bunkrooms. Each sleeps 8 people on 3 sets of bunks & another 2 on ledges. Mattresses are supplied. The newly-renovated 2 bathrooms each have 2 toilets & 2 showers and sinks. The lodge is electrically heated (heat pump & wall panels), & has two drying rooms. There is also a newly-installed ventilation system. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking pots & utensils, crockery & cutlery. A large electric stove & oven, microwave, kettle, large fridge. BRING YOUR OWN bedding (sleeping bags, pillows), towels, toilet paper, tea towels, dishwash. Some cleaning products are supplied. The lodge is not recommended for very young children. Guests must clean the lodge before departure. Vacuum cleaner & cleaning equipment are in the lodge. The lodge is owned by a charity and is used for camps for young people, youth groups & school groups. Your hire helps maintain our Lodge for youth camps - thank you!
