About this Holiday House

Beautiful comfortable beach cottage at Opononi on the Hokianga Harbour. Unique position, 180 degrees views up and down the harbour, out to sea and straight down on to the beach. Private, sunny decks, fully equipped, very comfortable and relaxing. Unlimited fibre broadband. 15 minutes walk along the beach to Opononi hotel, shops and The Landing Cafe and Opononi Takeaways. 5 minutes drive OR 30 min walk to Omapere and the Copthorne Hotel. Maximum 4 guests allowed. $50.00 cleaning fee. GST added to fees. NOTE THERE ARE TWO SEPERATE DWELLINGS ON THIS PROPERTY AND FROM TIME TO TIME BOTH WILL BE OCCUPIED, HOWEVER YOUR PRIVACY AT 180 DEGREES COTTAGE WILL NOT BE COMPROMISED.

The best kept secret on the West Coast. Perfect position to explore the mystical Hokianga Harbour and neighbouring ocean beaches. 20 mins drive up the harbour to historic Rawene and the car ferry to Kohukohu with its cafe and art gallery. 20 mins drive south to Waipoua Forest and the famous huge Kauri tree, Tane Mahuta. 1 hour drive across to KeriKeri and Bay of Islands on the east coast. 4 hours drive from Auckland.

Absolutely loved our stay here over Valentines day weekend. The views would have been our most favorite part of the place, really breathtaking. Will definitely be back again really soon. The property Manager Wayne was awesome to communicate with too and was so helpful during our stay. Loved every minute of being at Te Ata.
