About this Holiday House

Absolute beachfront, three bedroom traditional kiwi bach. Well appointed for couples only or family groups. Downstairs - two bedrooms - the first one has a queen bed with French doors opening on to a deck & overlooks the harbour. Bedroom two, also opening onto the deck with harbour views has a king single bed and a queen sofa bed. The open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer & microwave. The living area has two ranch sliders opening onto the deck & stunning views to the harbour entrance and sand dunes. Unlimited Broadband, TV with Sky & DVD. Also downstairs there are two bathrooms, both with shower, toilet & vanity. Washing machine. Upstairs - an open plan room with queen bed and double sofa bed & opens on to a deck with great views. This spacious room is also set up with Kitchen(hot plates but no stove, fridge/freezer, & TV. Very well set up for friends who want to holiday together, but also have some private space with separate kitchen and bathroom facilities . Directly opposite sandhills and harbour entrance - prime beachfront setting (one of the few properties at Omapere and Opononi on the beach side of the main road)

Superb position and views. House, though spacious, is rather tired and in need of some tlc. Pity no AC available.

Great location and view! Thoughtful host. Property could use a little maintenance (e.g. phoenix palm limits visibility when pulling out of driveway, and upstairs balcony balustrade is flimsy if you have small kids). Worth noting that I didn’t not have phone reception for my provider, but that wasn’t a big issue. Overall our stay was fantastic and would definitely visit again.
