This is the perfect place to stay when coming to Golden Bay. Location is very handy, scenery around is magnificent, so much birdlife just on your doorstep ! The unit is very comfortable and the owner puts a lot of attention in the important details.

We have been going to A1 for over five years, it is simply THE best location, overlooking the estuary with the spoonbills often there right in front of us, and the view up to Farewell Spit is ever changing. It has everything you need and we adore it. Sharlene and Phil are the very best hosts. Collingwood has two museums, ALOT of history and so many places to walk, perfect in winter and summer.

Good simple accommodation, clean and tidy but quite dated. Great location within easy walk to town
