Special Amenities

Close to Punakaiki village and the Pancake rocks. Beautiful walking tracks beside Bullock Creek and the Pororari River, which join up with the Inland Pack Track. Truman's Track to the interesting rocky beaches is nearby. There is an Internet cafe at the Tavern. cell phone reception may be found out on the beach in front of the Bach if you use OneNZ!

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Restaurants are available at the Punakaiki Tavern or the Rocks Hotel, as well as at the shopping area by the Pancake Rocks. In the village one can hire a kayak or Paddle board to explore the Pororari river. The Pororari River is fishable, both trout and whitebait. A good walking track runs beside it.

Such a beautiful/magic location in all weathers, gem of a Kiwi crib/batch - don't want to say too much as we want to make sure it is available next time we want to stay. We will be back.
