Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

The amenities of Kaiteriteri (cafes, a general store, water taxis etc) are an easy 5 minutes walk away. Water taxis will take you into the Abel Tasman National Park where you can spend a day walking part of the Abel Tasman track. There are kayaks for hire to explore this coastline of golden sand beaches and rocky headlands. Nelson is less than an hour away, Motueka 15 minutes, and Mapua with its cafes and shops is 30 minutes. Collingwood with its safari bus trips along Farewell Spit is about 80 minutes's drive.
