About this Holiday House
A beautiful, Chalet constructed with solid beams and chunky timber which gives the impression that it has just evolved from the trees that surround it!
The owners have lovingly renovated their dream Chalet "Base Camp". The large living area and kitchen/dining room with its interesting and original beams and architecture give the chalet its quirky character.
The living room features a substantial rock-faced fireplace and overstuffed sofas so you can relax after your day on the slopes/sightseeing.
There is also a heat pump which seems to warm the place up literally within minutes!!
We also have free WIFI, a Smart TV, Netflix, and Sky TV
Base Camp is only a short walk to the center of the village, but is situated in a beautifully quiet and tranquil location. If you listen very carefully you can even hear the odd kiwi at night.
There's a private and sheltered section for the kids to run around or to have a BBQ (take your own charcoal), and a deck upstairs from where you can take in the mountain views all around you while you put your feet up at the end of a relaxing day! This is a great place to star gaze the clear night sky surrounded by snow-clad mountains (in the winter) are fantastic.
Also available is a Blue tooth Home Theater System, so you can connect to it and play your own music.
