About this Holiday House

Cosy, well presented, 3 roomed bach. Sleeps 7 Just a few steps away from the beach and perrrrrfect for swimming, snorkling, fishing, kayaking, boating and walking. Ideal for young families. Next to Reotahi Marine Reserve and Mt Aubrey bush reserve. On Te Araroa walkway. 50 meters to water taxi to cross the channel. Well suited for active people, or just to relax and chill. Well-equipped kitchenette and a spacious dining area. Kitchen utensils, small bench top oven, 2 burner gas cooker, microwave, electric fry pan. Outdoor furniture and 3 burner barbeque are also provided, so you can relax in the sun. Bifold windows and doors open to the garden, sea view and Mt. Aubrey. Level access. Cosy fire for winter months. Separate bathroom with shower. Trekkers - special rates for the bach. Small tents welcome at minimal cost. Enquire about rates. Peaceful, bush garden. Uniquely decorated bach. 50 metres from the water. Inner harbour views. Safe beach for children. Boat launch at the bottom of the drive. Accessible for fishing. Adjacent to a bush and marine reserve. On the Te Araroa walkway. You may even hear the kiwis calling at night! Ideal for snorkling, walking, swimming, rock exploring . A ride on kayak, dinghy and life-jackets are available, on request. Corner cafe and Takeaway within walking distance Children's garden swing on property and playground at the end of the street. Bed capacity comfortably 6, but can be 7. Trekkers with small tents welcome. Wifi and washing machine available for a small fee, on request.

Beautiful spot a stones throw from the beach. Lovely little garden for the kids to enjoy. Super quiet as at the end of the road. Host is lovely and respectful of your space

Clare and Graeme are warm and wonderful humans who were so kind and welcoming to our family. The bach at thistledo is perfect, has everything you'd want on holiday and is next to incredible bush, walks, beaches. We heard a kiwi calling right behind the house each night! Phenomenal. Overall we had a fantastic holiday here
