Algies Bay is a small sheltered bay only 60 minutes drive from Auckland,ideal for swimming,boating,fishing sailing and diving with Kawau island only 10 mins by boat (ferry from Sandspit).There are a wide range of other activities and places to visit nearby including Tawharanui Regional Park, Vineyards, Cafes, Goat Island Marine Reserve as well as exploring the other bays of the Mahurangi Peninsula

Lovely self-contained unit with everything that you need. We used it as a base for day trips but it was also nice to relax on a wet afternoon and watch movies etc. Really nice to have a proper oven/stove and not just hotplates. Also having a dishwasher while on holiday was great. Lovely hosts. Highly recommend and will be booking again if we are up that way.

This is a great place in a great spot to explore Algies Bay, the surrounding Peninsula and close to Matakana markets. Spacious private outdoor area with a well equipped kitchen. Welcoming friendly hosts. Highly recommend.
