Lovely property to stay at - has everything you need. Comfortable, clean and a gorgeous setting. Quiet and serene. We have stayed twice now with our four kids and dog and both times have had a fantastic holiday
Don’t stay in the winter or cooler times of the year! The heating is completely inadequate. There is not any gas heating as listed. There’s a little fan heater which keeps tripping the power board as it’s full of dust - this is a fire hazard. The bar heater only warms a tiny area in front of it. It was so cold we only stayed 1 night, we couldn’t get out of there fast enough so we could warm up. Also, you can only run a restricted number of appliances at the same time otherwise the circuit breakers will trip. The location is lovely and would likely be nice to stay during a much warmer time of the year. Arthur is very friendly and welcoming, and offered us citrus fruit from his trees.
Response from Owner
I have had 3 workers from Central Pest Board there for 10 weeks and they have not wanted heaters, they were comfortable. The Bach has a 3 burner gas heater and a convection heater, the little fan heater mentioned belongs in the caravan and should not have even been in the Bach. It was explained that the bach is on RCDs and as such they will trip out us our area is on restricted power. If they had wanted more heaters all they had to do was ring us as we live a K up the road. However they did stay 1 night then skipped out early next morning. I do sympathize with them if they were cold but if they couldn't be bothered to ring me up or use the gas heaters that is not my fault unless the gas heater was to heavy for them.

Bowen’s bush is a fabulous place to stay. The house is small but has everything we needed, is light, clean and comfortable. Arthur was a superb host and even dropped off fresh seafood! Lovely, peaceful and close to beach and lake we will return for sure.
Response from Owner
This was a great group and they really got out there and enjoyed themselves, especially the shell eating dog who also liked the cows.
