Coromandel

A natural treat in the heart of NZ bush at Hikuai. Kahiwi log cabin is close to other holiday attractions on the Coromandel such as Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. It is 15 minutes from Pauanui and Tairua beaches and 30 minutes from Whangamata. The start to the Pinnacles Walk is 30 minutes from there and the Hauraki Bike Trail starts over the hill at Thames. Holiday in a stress free zone with the sounds of a stream flowing through and native birds. The bush trail to the waterfall is in development, but currently can be accessed from the private roadway on a 10 minute walk. It has two queen beds in the main cabin and two single beds. There is a small stream to cross so a 4 Wheel Drive or larger wheeled vehicle is needed.
