Located in the relaxing community of Wharewaka, this place gives the best holiday feel. Bike, skate, scoot, walk, run - all easily, even the famous Lions path. Super close to the best 2 beaches, playground and lakeside picnic spots. Boat ramp minutes in the car and two other bays to enjoy the lake before leaving the suburb. There isn’t much this holiday spot is missing. More beaches, hot springs and town are a short drive, Rainbow Point fishnchips, dairy and Ploughmans Pub are close, plus the new Woolworths shopping centre and The Landing entertainment (Trampoline and climbing, bowling alley and arcade games, Gastro Pub, Cafe, Icecream shop + more) are just up the road. The house itself is set up to be simple but comfortable. There’s everything you need with plenty of space, but you can relax with children and pets. Yes, that’s right! We love to take our dogs and even cat so be sure to talk to me about taking yours. The spacious Master room is upstairs, with heatpump/aircon, walk-in-wardrobe and ensuite (portacot available). Queen and twin rooms share the family bathroom downstairs. Laundry has access to fully fenced back garden. Open plan living with heatpump/aircon. Smartvent also keeps the house healthy and even temperature. Outdoor seating, gas BBQ and fire pit are there to enjoy (BYO wood to burn). Smart TV and HDMI cable if you want to plug in. There is also a DVD player and a USB input. While not a hotel or BnB with any services, this is a relaxed home where we want guests to relax with all they could need. Just treat it as we would and leave it how you found it or better. Be sure not to miss the 2 mile sailing club along the lake at anytime of day!
