Welcome to Haven Cottage, a peaceful oasis in beautiful Hanmer Springs. The original cottage started its life as the dental clinic for our local primary school. Due for demolition, we saved this little piece of Hanmer history and moved it onto our lifestyle property. A complete refurbishment, large extension and deck has resulted in a gorgeous couples retreat just 4 kms from Hanmer village. There's a well appointed, spacious lounge with a smart TV, books, board games and comfy couches for lazy days. The bedroom contains a superking Sleepyhead bed offering pure comfort and luxury with an amazing view of the mountains while the ensuite bathroom exudes old world charm with its claw-foot bath - make time to indulge in a candle-lit soak! The well-equipped sunny kitchen opens directly onto the large deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee in perfect privacy listening to the beautiful song of the tui and bellbirds. The sun loungers provide another opportunity to laze the day away or enjoy sunset drinks before heading into the village.
