Great place, private and so peaceful, home is warm and spacious, beautiful views and amazing bird life, just a quick stroll to the beach and boat ramp, parking was great.everything was there for us to be able to relax and enjoy our time, thanks Sandra and John.

Loved our stay, loved Penzance Bay and especially loved the use of the kayaks! John & Sandra were kind and helpful hosts.

I had the pleasure of staying here with my mother and aunt who were visiting from overseas. It is in the most perfect little piece of New Zealand which is truly spectacular. The beach is a five minute stroll and John took the kayaks down for us and picked them up after, the water is clear, still and perfect for swimming and kayaking. The view from the house is amazing (I wish I could add pictures on here), there are weka that come up right to the door and there is no other found except the birdsong. The house is large and roomy, everything you need is there and Sandra and John are really lovely. Wifi is good, smart TV and games etc. The road to Tennyson inlet is winding but we just drove slowly and never passed another car the whole way back. Will definitely go back!
