Across the lake to Rangiriri historical pa and site of land wars, there are various monuments and Greenstone museum to visit and then enjoy the garden bar at the Rangiriri historic hotel. There is 1km walkway around a wetland park, 3km along the road. Getting around: We are 10km from the closest village so you will need your own transport. The house is set on top of a hill to take advantage of the stunning views, there is a well formed drive of concrete and metal and plenty of parking by the house and a lot of room to turn cars.
